what we do best

What We Can Do for Your Chimney

Chimney Inspection

We look inside your chimney with a camera to find cracks, damage, or anything dangerous you can’t see. You get a report telling you exactly what’s wrong and what needs fixing.
aa chimney sweep and cleaning

Chimney Sweep and Cleaning

We scrub out all the black stuff (creosote) and gunk that builds up inside your chimney so it doesn’t catch fire. We brush the whole flue, clean the firebox, and remove anything blocking the airflow.

Chimney Repair

When parts of your chimney break or stop working right, we fix them. We repair cracks, replace broken pieces, fix leaks, and make sure smoke goes up and out like it should.
aa chimney flue

Chimney Flue

The flue is the tube inside your chimney that carries smoke and bad gases out of your house. We fix cracked liners or install new ones so your family stays safe from carbon monoxide.
chimney testimonials-6

Chimney Masonry

Bricks and mortar crumble over time from rain and cold weather. We replace broken bricks, fill in the gaps, and seal everything so water stays out.

Chimney Cap

A cap is like a lid for your chimney that keeps rain, birds, and leaves from falling in. We install metal caps that let smoke out but keep everything else from getting in.
aa chimney crown

Chimney Crown

The crown is the concrete top around your chimney that stops water from leaking inside. We fix cracks or build a new one so rain rolls off instead of soaking in.

The Hidden Risks of a Damaged Chimney

A Broken Chimney Isn’t Just a Structural Issue - It’s a Serious Safety Hazard ⚠️

25,000+ Chimney Fires Happen Every Year in the U.S.

Chimney fires cause over $125 million in property damage annually — and most start from creosote buildup that could have been removed with routine sweeping. In many cases, homeowners only realize the risk when they’re already worried and start looking for a chimney sweep near me to deal with the problem quickly. Regular visits from certified chimney sweepers help prevent fires before they start.

Just 1/8” of Creosote Can Ignite at 451°F

That tiny amount is thinner than a nickel — yet hot enough to start a chimney fire that reaches 2,000°F and melts metal components in seconds. This kind of buildup isn’t always visible, which is why experienced chimney sweepers recommend routine sweeping even when the fireplace appears to be working normally.

Carbon Monoxide Kills 430+ Americans Every Year

A blocked or poorly vented chimney can push CO back into the home, causing headaches, nausea, and deadly CO poisoning without any visible warning. When draft issues or strange odors appear, many homeowners decide it’s time to schedule a chimney sweep near me so airflow and ventilation can be properly checked by trained chimney sweepers.

Water Damage From Chimneys Costs Homeowners Thousands

A small chimney leak can spread into walls, ceilings, and insulation. Repairing the resulting mold, stains, and rot often reaches $2,000–$10,000+ — all from unnoticed cracks. Routine inspections by qualified chimney sweepers help catch moisture problems early, before they turn into major repairs that homeowners didn’t see coming.

We scheduled AA Chimney & Air Duct for a chimney sweep and full inspection, and we were genuinely impressed. The technician arrived early, wore protective covers inside the house, and kept everything spotless while working. He identified a minor issue with the damper and fixed it before it became a larger problem. It’s rare to see this level of professionalism and attention to detail these days.

We had concerns about a possible crack in the flue after a heavy storm, so we contacted AA Chimney & Air Duct for an inspection. The technician arrived quickly and walked us through every step of the process with total patience. Thankfully the flue was intact, but they recommended a full sweep which made a huge difference in airflow and overall fireplace performance. Frequently asked questions

What is included in your $69 chimney inspection?
Our $69 inspection includes a full visual safety check of your chimney and fireplace, the flue and liner, damper operation, airflow and draft, and visible structural components. We look for creosote buildup, blockages, cracks, water damage, and any signs that the chimney may be unsafe to use.
A Level 1 inspection is a standard visual inspection of all readily accessible parts of the chimney and fireplace. It’s recommended if you’ve been using your fireplace regularly with no known issues or recent changes.
A Level 2 inspection is more detailed and may include camera equipment to inspect the inside of the flue. It’s usually recommended after a chimney fire, before buying or selling a home, after major weather damage, or if a problem is suspected.
A Level 3 inspection is only needed in rare cases when serious damage is suspected and hidden areas must be accessed. This level may involve removing parts of the chimney or surrounding materials to fully assess safety.
Most homeowners only need a Level 1 inspection. If we notice anything that requires a closer look, we’ll explain why a Level 2 inspection is recommended before moving forward. We never perform higher-level inspections unless they’re truly necessary.
The $69 inspection covers a Level 1 chimney inspection. If a higher-level inspection is needed, we’ll explain the reason, what’s involved, and any additional cost before doing anything further.
Most inspections take about 30 to 45 minutes. More detailed inspections may take longer depending on the chimney structure and access.
Cleaning is not included in the inspection, but if creosote buildup or blockages are found, we’ll let you know and explain your options.
Yes. Chimney issues like cracks, leaks, or blockages can exist even if the fireplace isn’t in use. An inspection helps catch problems early and prevents costly damage.
If any service is needed, the $69 inspection fee will be waived and credited toward the total cost of the repair.
We recommend a chimney inspection at least once a year, even if you don’t use your fireplace often.
